The Record Keeper

“I will remember the deeds of the Lord.” [Psalm 77:11]

Psalm 106:12

“they believed his promises and sang his praise, but they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his counsel.”

Deuteronomy 6:4

Hear, Oh Israel:  The Lord our God, the Lord is one.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.

Impress them on your children.

Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when  you get up.

Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”

Deuteronomy 6:12 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you our of Eqypt, out of the Land of slavery.

Remember the wonders he has done.  (I Chronicles 16:12)

Remember to extol His work.  (Job 36:24)

On my bed I remember you, I think of you through the watches of the night.  (Psalm 63:6)

I will remember the deeds of the Lord.  (Psalm 77:11)

Isaiah 46:8 Remember this, fix it in your mind

I choose to remember.

I choose to celebrate.

I choose to help my family remember.

It is good.  It is fun.  It is rewarding.

It is right and fitting for me.

I remember using pictures, journals, notecards and words.
